With its trading operations based at Mumbai, ITC-ABD has a procurement network covering Gujarat, Maharashtra and Rajasthan.

The products are packed in Jute bags, Polypropylene bags and Paper bags according to the buyer’s requirements. Castor Oil is packed in mild steel drums of 200 Kgs. and stuffed in 20 foot containers for shipment. Castor Oil is also shipped in bulk by oil tanker vessels.

The speciality of the division lies in its ability to offer products according to the buyer's specification, and packaged specifically to suit his requirements. The Nuts & Spices division offers a wide assortment of varieties under each product. The range under HPS Groundnut covers both the Java and Bold varieties. Sesame Seeds comprise of Natural White, Black and Brown varieties and also Hulled Sesame Seeds. While USA, China, Argentina and South Africa are other major exporters of Groundnuts, Europe, Indonesia and Malaysia import HPS Groundnuts in a major way.

Sesame Seeds on the other hand are exported on a large scale by China, Sudan, Central America to Mediterranean countries, USA, Europe, Far East etc.

History: ABD Nuts & Spices

The division combines people with vast experience in agri-trading with the ITC Group’s credibility to justify its standing in the trading arena. The division was set up in 1989 and since then has handled a wide range of products - such as Sesame Seeds , HPS Groundnuts, Castor Oil, Spices, Processed Foods etc. Total volume handled is in excess of 1,20,000 mts, and the division has established it's presence as a reliable and competitive supplier in the Mediterranean countries, USA, Europe, Far East etc.
